A-frame Glass Storage Rack

A customer recently sought out our construction expertise, requesting we construct an A-frame rack to hold glass panels.

All the wood in the rack is military-grade heat-treated dimensional lumber, keeping our customer's product hygienic and pest-free. We angled the wood with a router (see left image below for an example of angled wood, see the middle image below for the router): to cut material as needed to keep the wood planks flush with each other; and to chamfer edges for the safety of people near the panels, any glass colliding with it, and the edges themselves. We secured the wood together with 3-inch screws.

Finally, we used a spray adhesive to attach felt to the wood. The felt adds cushioning for the glass panels.
